The super absorbent inner layer is made from bamboo/cotton. It loves to be washed and soaks up all the wetness. All of the pairs have washing instructions included. After the initial first wash they both will soften and form to the shape of Mum.
LimeDaisy Design recommend that a breastfeeding Mum have 3 to 6 pairs, depending on how much her let down is and how often she washes them. To prevent nipple soreness, you should change your breast pad when it becomes damp and preferably at least at every feed.
